How I Started - I have been a keen photographer for many, many years and it certainly kicked up a gear when my children arrived in the late 90's! after meeting my good friend Pete (in 2002) who after a long life love of every thing camera he set about teaching me to push on to the next level and I turned professional in 2005 - I love every minute of my job and I will be forever grateful to everyone who have supported me over the years!

Life Outside of Work - I am mum to two fabulous children, one teen and one pre-teen with Autism. I am also a part of the committee for my local netball league as well as running my own business – looks like I seem to thrive on being busy!

My Best Skill - Putting people at ease in front of the camera

My Worst Skill - Approaching people in the street, even if they have the look i'd pay hundreds for

Without my Camera would - still be working in an office trying to juggle hours and school runs

My personality is very much reflected in the services I offer, and I have found that people relax and are comfortable in my company at the studio fairly quickly. I think it’s because I am pretty laid back and easy to talk to when I’m working.

My philosophy with packages, prices and bookings;

 I like to respond to calls/texts & emails quickly – I hate being kept waiting, and when I’ve asked for information it’s because I want it straight away; so I make sure I do the same for anyone that contacts me!

 I set no strict time limits on bookings – Babies & children have a short attention span and if they are forced to do something they do not want to do they will quickly get upset and grumpy - if this means a break for a snack/drink or play then that’s what we do.

 My prices have been set to reflect not only what I personally would pay for the service but also to provide a professional service at a reasonable rate. I would much rather see you return to me again in the future than to get all your money the first time I meet you!

 Advertising – I try and keep my advertising costs to a minimum in order to keep my prices down; word of mouth is a key advertising component for me and I get a lot of work this way.

 I have set up some packages that are most popular by request; however these are not set in stone and I am happy to discuss alternatives.
