The key to getting great images is to make the photography as much fun as possible.

Getting children to laugh is one of the things that I love about my job; I do not believe that simply pointing a camera in a child's face is going to capture their personality; their natural inquisitiveness or their love of life.

The best images are almost always produced when you are relaxed, comfortable and happy; overly posed or staged smiles usually end up with gritted teeth and squinty eyes and an uncomfortable reminder of school photos, and who wants that!!

We are a very child friendly studio, but a favourite toy or teddy is always a bonus, as they will feel more relaxed with something familiar to hold on to.

Babies & Children - Plain white clothes (cotton dresses, white t-shirts) and jeans with bare feet work best with little ones as we want the focus to be on your child and busy clothes can be distracting.

Family Portraits - Clothes that work best are black long sleeve tops, crisp white shirts (or T-Shirts) and dark coloured bottoms, with accessories to add a bit of colour, plenty of props and imagination!
