I am based in Shetland, where I'm the co-owner of Thordale Shetland Stud. Living in this harsh rugged landscape, the native ponies and wildlife have inspired much of my personal photography and film making. For more than 40 yeaars, I have been living with, riding and photographing horses.  I began to work as a professional photographer through my experience as a horse breeder and trainer, initially at horse shows and in the field, capturing the special relationships between horses, people, and nature. More recently, my work has expanded to include family portraits, weddings, pets and other animals, gardens and landscapes, and events. I periodically travel around the UK and abroad, so if you are interested in scheduling a photography session, please let me know and I will try to fit you into my itinerary.
