Deposit Terms & Conditions
 

1. A refundable deposit is required to book your appointment. This deposit covers attendance to all your appointments with us, appointments must be attended, for a refund.
2. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change appointments. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit, another deposit will be required to rebook. Upon attendance of your viewing session, your deposit will be refunded or deducted from your order balance.
3. Lateness to any appointments will be taken out of your appointment time. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your deposit may be forfeited, and you risk your appointment being cancelled.
4. If you cancel more than three times, even with notice, you will forfeit your deposit and voucher.
5. Deposits will be held for a period of six months. If you cancel your appointment, ensuring that terms 1-4 have been met, you must contact the studio within six months to request a deposit refund.

Why do photographers take a deposit before your session?

In order for your appointment to be the amazing experience you deserve, there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes before you even step through the door. The experience also gives you access to amazing photographic resources that truly make a fantastic experience. Depending on the type of portrait session you’re visiting the studio for, each session requires a lot of preparation.

• We reserve your chosen time in the state-of-the-art photographic studio and use the specialist photographic equipment, including cameras, lights, backdrops, and may include photographic makeup.
• Your deposit payment secures time with industry professionals, including photographers, makeup artists, image consultants, and retouchers.
• Your deposit helps to keep the diary running smoothly for all customers.

When do you take the refundable deposit?

The payment is taken at the time of booking.

Under what circumstances would I loose my deposit?

By paying the fully refundable booking deposit, you are committing to your agreed appointment time and date. Appointments can be re-arranged with at least 72 hours notice.

If late notice or no notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to pay another to rebook.
 

Ordering

Due to the bespoke nature of the product, orders cannot be changed. Every product and service purchased is invoiced as a signed contract. Once a contract has been signed, you cannot amend your order.

Voucher Terms & Conditions: General

1. Your voucher will be valid for six months from the date of purchase.
2. Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, vouchers, prizes, or packages and is not redeemable for cash or any other goods.
3. Voucher's are non-refundable and cannot be used to purchase prints from previous sessions.
4. We only permit one voucher per family per year. The same people are not permitted to take part in multiple photo shoots within the same 12-month period. If the same people want to take part in multiple photo shoots, any free products will be forfeited.
5. Failure to turn up for appointments without notification will result in your voucher becoming invalid.
6. No further purchase is necessary, and the company logo may be added to the print.
7. This voucher is not intended for photo shoots with friends.
8. Must be 18+ to claim a free product.
9. Notifications of sessions available may be made by telephone calls, email, or writing.
10. The photo shoot is valued at £75, and the print is valued at £89.
11. Complimentary product need to reflect the voucher type or the voucher title, ie. Dog portrait voucher must have dog in the portrait.
12. A maximum of three complimentary prints/products per family unit in a six-year period is permitted.
13. The copyright to the claim image/product remains the property of Hammonds Creative Studio Limited.

Family Specific

1. All general terms and conditions listed above apply.
2. A family photo shoot involves two or more generations and is not suitable for children on their own.
3. For children under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at all appointments.
4. Vouchers are not intended for pets alone or groups of friends.
5. Families must be complete; for instance, if a family has two children, both must be present for their photo shoot.

Makeover Specific

1. All general terms and conditions listed above apply.
2. Makeovers are for one person only.
3. If friends would like a makeover, they must purchase their own voucher and use it on separate days.
4. The complimentary photo must be of the person alone.
5. Makeup and hair styling are intended for the photo shoot only.
6. You may request to remove your makeup after the session.
7. We take no liability for makeup causing harm including unknow allergies. 

Pet Specific

1. All general terms and conditions listed above apply.
2. The pet owner must be present at all appointments.
3. More than one pet can participate in the session as long as the first term is met.
4. The studio reserves the right to decline any pets they feel unsuitable for a pet photo shoot.
5. Pet owners are responsible for their pets, including the following: cleaning up mess, keeping them on a lead when necessary, any insurance needed to own pet.

Vouchers from Third-Party Websites

Terms and conditions are usually printed on the voucher or on the website from which it was purchased.

1. All general terms and conditions listed above apply.
2. If you have mispurchased a voucher and cannot comply with the terms, please request a refund from the third-party website.
3. If you have the photo session and you do not meet the studio’s or voucher’s terms, no complimentary product will be given.
4. Complimentary products must be of the voucher type, such as a family photo voucher (for a complete family) or a newborn voucher (for a newborn).
5. You are welcome to purchase additional products at your viewing appointment.
6. There will be no additional charge for your photography session.
7. A similar complimentary free product may be offered as an alternative on some occasions.
8. No refunds will be made to third-party vouchers.

Further terms and conditions

Prize winners

1. All general terms and conditions listed above apply.
2. There is no obligation to purchase further products.
3. A maximum of one winning prize per family per year is permitted.
4. Contact will be made to customer via email and phone.
5. Customers must ensure they have their voucher or confirmation email of the winning prize at the viewing appointment.
6. A refundable deposit is required to book your appointment.

Placing an order

1. Once you have placed a order cannot cancel your contract or receive a refund because you are purchasing bespoke goods or services.
2. There is no cooling-off period for such sales.
3. If you have not received the goods or service, please contact us to discuss the issue so we can rectify it.
4. Orders must be collected within six months of receiving the order ready notification.
5. Upon collecting your order, you must notify us within 14 days if you notice any issues.
6. You agree to care for your portraits and avoid placing them in direct sunlight or areas of high heat or moisture.

GDPR

Your details will be kept secure and not given or sold to any third party. 
Images taken of you maybe sorted for future purchase or for safe keeping, if you wish for us to remove all your images and/or data please contact us by email. 
Invoices including minimum customer details are stored for accounting purposes.

Images taken by Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd belong to Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd. The 1998 Copyright Act protects photographers by granting the author of the image (Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd) exclusive rights to reproduce the photos, including the right to control the making of copies. It is illegal to copy or reproduce images taken at Hammonds Creative Studio Ltd without our prior consent. Action may be taken if this is breached.
