Freerange Portraits

I call my style of portrait photography "freerange" because it's about capturing families in their natural environment.

Using available light and giving children space to do what they enjoy and behave naturally enables me to portray their characters as they are:  natural, relaxed, unposed and without restriction.

This is not about being confined in a studio against a white background, this is about space, exuberance and using a location that is important to you.

Typically a shoot lasts between one and two hours, the locations and backgrounds can be varied, as can clothing.   A range of different images can then be presented as framed images or in albums or coffee table books.
