Katherine loves to work with couples that are searching for a photographer that connects with them and can express their personality and love story through the wedding photography. Most packages include an engagement session, which is the perfect way for her to learn about your relationship and how you would like your wedding photographed. It also gives you an insight in to her personality and the way she will work on your special day.

Katherine works extensively with each of her clients to produce the stunning albums that are her signature. By the time the big day arrives you will have already explored every detail of your wedding with Katherine and you can relax in the knowledge that all the nerves, fun and love will be captured in your beautiful images.

It is Katherine’s goal to document the wedding day in a way that highlights the beauty of the location and details, but also captures real moments as they unfold. Of top importance also is photographing the bride and groom at their best as well as the wedding party and family members. This includes portraits with flattering poses and also capturing those candid moments. Your wedding will be photographed with an artistic eye, keen sense of detail and awareness of key moments.

Photos begin before the ceremony with photojournalistic coverage of the bride’s dressing and final preparations, and those tiny details like the bride’s shoes and perfume, continuing with bridal portraits and fun images of the bride with her bridesmaids. The groom’s preparations are also covered if he is at the same location as the bride followed by groom’s portraits and photos with his best man and ushers. All of those images are photographed before the ceremony.

The ceremony is also covered in a documentary style. Katherine captures the romance and unobtrusive photographing the ceremony using telephoto lenses that enable them to remain at a distance and yet, still deliver images that capture the emotion and beauty of the vow exchange. All ceremonies are photographed using natural light (no flash) to preserve the sanctity of the moment and the mood.

After the ceremony, formal images with the bride and groom’s family members are first on the list followed by the entire wedding party together and ending with the bride and groom alone together. Katherine offers the couple both elegant formal portraits at the ceremony location and casual, fun images outside the church or at a second location such as a nearby park or a “special place”. All of this will be completed in less than 90mins ensuring that the bride and groom reach the reception and spend quality time with there guests.

The reception is photographed in a photojournalistic style as well. Katherine will capture the key moments of the reception including the planned traditions, but also are there to document the details you have worked so hard to perfect as well as fun photos of your family and friends. We are happy to coordinate with your wedding planner or DJ to ensure coverage of all events. All you have to do is have a good time!

After the wedding, images are posted in an on-line proof viewing system. The photos are posted 14 to 21 days after the wedding. If you’ve selected an album package, then Katherine personally custom designs each album in an artistic way that will showcase the story of your wedding day. No two albums are alike. Yours will be a work of art! Couples benefit from a choice of three album styles: Story book, flush-mount or traditional and a wide variety of cover styles and options to fit your taste.

Once you've seen the images from the day, there are bound to be one or two you'd like to have on show around the home, or for relatives to have as gifts.

We offer a wide range of image prints - from small images for your wallet, to high-quality hand-made framed prints for the home, up to large art canvases for wall display.

All of our prints are made with high quality museum-grade printing processes and will last an estimated 250 years if not stored in direct sunlight.
