Hi! I'm Michael Edwards. I was born and raised in Dublin, and I've been taking pictures since I was 8 years old my mother Pat bought me my first camera in Woolworths in Henry St.I fell in love with wedding photography after a friend of mine asked me to photograph his wedding . They loved the photos and I got paid, I had a great time, and I realized that shooting weddings offered a easy way of earning money, Since then I’ve photographed literally hundreds of weddings maybe closer to over three thousand. I think I probably have the best job in the world; not only do I get to do what I love, but I also get to meet so many wonderful people and spend time with them on the happiest day of their lives. It’s great for me that I get to work with people who are fun and relaxed, but it’s also a two-way street. A big part of my job as a wedding photographer has nothing to do with taking pictures, it’s about being a calming presence during what is surely a joyful but also potentially hectic day for all. Most couples spend more time interacting with their photographer on their wedding day than just about anyone else, so it’s important that we get on. That’s why I always love to meet and shoot prewedding portraits..A Walk in the Park and a cup of coffee makes a great warm up for The Big Day..Michael
