Are you Expecting a Special Delivery?!!

Congratulations! This is such a time of joy and excitement. I just loved being pregnant with my daughter..all the strange changes with my body and feeling the pure joy of knowing I would have her to hold in just a few months. Whether this is your first or 18th child (shew...I will pray for you!), they are all special. Some mom's want this session for the first child and some really always wanted to do it, but never did and now they know this will be their last chance. No matter what category you fall into, don't do what I did and wait to late to capture this miracle happening. One of my biggest regrets!

This session is usually taken in your home. I love to move from the baby's room to your bedroom to wherever the lighting is the best. I prefer to do this type of session with both parents and siblings, if there are any. I feel it makes everyone feel special and a part of this child's life, not just the mother. I understand that some women do not want to reveal their bellies and that is just fine. We can get beautiful expecting portraits without lifting your clothing.

Clothing - Solid Colors are best. They do not have to be just T-shirts and jeans, feel free to dress it up a little. Just make sure everyone matches in color and style (casual or semi-formal). Mom's need to wear clothing that accentuates the belly (tank tops that can be folded up, tight fitting shirts or dresses, etc.) If you have a soft beautiful robe I would love to use it in the portraits next to some beautiful window light. I have several different drapes of fabric I like to wrap around you that create a soft and beautiful look for the mom-to-be. Any other clothing options we can discuss in our consult.
