Pete Jenkins
With more than thirty years experience, Photographic Consultant Pete Jenkins has first-hand working knowledge of the Photographic Industry, including editorial, commercial, and Public Relations sectors.
Understanding as he does that a supreme quality image will repay its cost many times over; he strives to work with clients who share that mindset. Those individuals and organisations that appreciate, as he does, that a high quality web site or publication can only be so with the best possible images. These people are his target market.
Detail Photography, his business, has an expanding digital photo-library - extensive stock material of Nottingham and the East Midlands, Union and labour issues, child and parenting matters, heritage events, and locations around the UK. As a regular contributor to many trade publications including The British Journal of Photography, Press Gazette, The Journalist, and Professional Photographer, where his insight and experience is valued by both the editorial teams and the professionals to whom the publication is addressed.
Much of Petes’ photographic work is now focussed on unions, non government organisations, conferences and speakers. Recent projects have found him at union annual general meetings, numerous union activities, professional speaker events, and public demonstrations on behalf of many agencies, unions and trade exhibitions. Clients use him to create the right image in printed material, on the web and in their marketing through their photographs.
This meticulously high standard can only be achieved with constant attention to detail; care and diligence are always at the forefront in preparation of presentations. Clients past and present have come to rely on and appreciate that time and effort goes into every image, resulting in a product that delivers. Every time. The standard that can be expected from all projects includes correct colour profiling and checking, with the final package offering appropriately labelled image files and contact sheets. Packages are sent by Post Office Special Delivery with its guaranteed delivery time and insurance cover.
At a time when too many photographic images do not meet the standards that should be demanded by any professional organisation, Pete Jenkins knows that those identifying with his enthusiasm and professionalism will surely appreciate his work. In the current market, where ‘good enough’ is too frequently the attitude, Pete Jenkins does not compromise his standards; his clients’ only want the best and so does he.
