The Music Scene in Nottingham and the East Midlands is strong and vibrant and continues a tradition that has been ongoing for many many years. At Castle Donington, just the other side of the M1 we have the 'Download' Festival, three days in Early summer, and Nottingham itself there is the Trent FM Arena, supported by countless smaller venues, such as Rock City and the Bodega Club,  some owned by the record companies themselves which support artists every week. Many top bands can be seen in some of these smaller venues prior to starting on their main UK tours. I started photographing bands in the seventies, and am once again covering the music scene, this time mostly in the East Midlands...
