I offer Equine photography across London, Hertfordshire, and the South East. You can opt for a photo session done entirely in natural light, with a mix of action, portraits, and detail shots. Or if your horse is relatively calm, I can bring a mobile studio to your yard and we can do a set of studio images of your horse. Above all, my goal is to capture the special bond between you and your horse. I travel to stables throughout Hertfordshire for these photo sessions.

Black Background Horse Photo Shoots – from £250
My black background horse photo shoot sessions start at £250 for two hours of my time. The black background element can either form part of a wider equine photography shoot, or the two hours can be split between four horses. This provides enough time to introduce the horses to what is an unusual setting (a 3m x 3m black background, complete with portable studio lights, and a man with a camera), get them used to it, and get some nice pictures. In my experience, individual horses have generally had enough of it after a maximum of 30 minutes anyway.
At least one additional pair of hands is useful for attracting the horse’s attention. I am able to provide these if required!

Up to 30 miles of travel in each direction from AL36HH (additional mileage charged at 50p per mile)
5x up to 18”x12” standard prints
The edited super-high-resolution digital files of the images you select for printing
Additional images can be purchased at £12.50 each, including a standard up to 18”x12” print and the edited super-high-resolution digital file.
If you spend an extra £200 on additional images, I will throw in all of the edited high-resolution digital files from the session in both colour and black and white.
Qualifiers will also receive a £50 credit towards a future booking with me and a 25% discount on any photographic products
Equine Portrait Sessions £125.00
Your portrait session will last between 1-2 hours.
We will have a pre-session discussion to go through the preparation details, including style advice, and to find out what kind of images you are looking for from your shoot.
When I arrive, we will scout together for some suitable locations close by before we start the actual shoot itself.
It’s a good idea to bring 2/3 outfits with you and we can decide together what will look the best to suit the sort of images you would like.
Then you and your horse will be photographed together in the various locations we sought out at the beginning for around an hour and a half.
Additional horses
If like me, you love horses so much you can't help but have more than one! I can photograph them too on your shoot.
On the Day
I try to encourage my customers to wear something'smart casual' for the first part of the photo shoot and then something that will give a bit of a WOW factor on the second half of the shoot. If you are unsure of what to wear, feel free to bring a selection of clothing, and we can decide together what will look best.
It is also a good idea to bring a friend along to help you with you and your horse should you need it.
Yard Days
My new Yard Days package, which includes a'mini' shoot for several riders & your four legged friends at your yard on the same day.
The price for this package is £35 per person (with a minimum of 4 per yard & a maximum of 8) & includes:
-30 minute 'Mini shoot' for each rider
-Online Album for you to view, share & purchase additional prints & digital files
-6 x High Resolution Digital image of your choice
-20% off any product purchases from your shoot

Shows
We all love going to shows, especially in the summer! But you've never got any photos to show off all the effort you've put in. I can accompany you to a show as your own personal photographer, taking those all-important shots of you when you’re going over that jump you've been worrying about or the dressage test that’s’ been keeping you awake at night. And of course, that one moment we all love when the judge comes and says, "You've you've come first!

Event Coverage
Equestrian events are normally attended free of charge, and all the images will be uploaded to an online album within 1 week. The images can be accessed by clicking here. Images are available to purchase in a variety of different formats, including personalised gifts.
