"Wow! You are super talented. How you managed to capture all you did I have no idea. You were discreet, yet managed to capture some of the most personal moments I thought I would never get to see. This is exactly what we wanted - magnificent colours and people relaxing and having fun. We love them all. Your professionalism and friendliness (which is still being talked about even today) was important to me as I hate the camera and contemplated not having a photographer! Thank you so much, we could not have asked for better!" Sarah & Steve
Congratulations on your engagement! These are exciting times as you plan for your special day
I photograph weddings in a candid and spontaneous manner keeping true to the event of your day and focusing on the chemistry, emotions, connections and details. I believe that your wedding shouldn't feel like a photo shoot and that you should be enjoying the company of your guests, so in our preparations, we will work out what you would like from your photography and identify any specific group photographs that you would like included. These don't take long on the day and are fun and relaxed.
I am honoured to be part of and capture such an important day in your life. I focus on providing you with natural timeless photographs that will make you feel like you haven't missed a thing and that you will look back on in years to come with fond memories.
How will I work on your big day?
I will adapt to the unique mix of energies of the people at your wedding so that I blend in and connect at the same time. I will be a calming influence and someone to laugh with whilst you get ready, I will help fix those button holes at the last minutes and I'll have tissues on hand for when things get a bit emotional. Don't worry, I will also get in the thick of things in the dance floor.
At some point during your day, we will head off just the two of you for a relaxed portrait session. We will take a walk, find some gorgous light or amazing views. I won't keep you from your guests for too long, but it will give you some quality time together (even if its just 15 minutes to take a breath) - after all, you have just got married.
The rest of my time will be spent observing and capturing the day as it unfolds. As your two families and groups of friends meet, I will be mingling to capture the characters and the camera-shy, to the looks, love and laugter, the food, the venue, the setting and all those details that you may well have spent months planning, as well as any moments that you may miss - as you can't be everywhere.
Micro Weddings Are you planning a smaller, more intimate wedding? Whether you are plan on bringing just 2 guests or up to 30 of you to celebrate, take a look at a few examples of just how wonderful these days are. Andrea & Adam had a real family affair. Their day was all about quality and intimacy. Hayley & Dave got married at Watergate Bay Hotel. Their smaller guest list meant that they less self conscious of being the centre of attention, were able to get married at the venue of their dreams. Sophie & Andy were joined by their two best friends when they got married at The Green, Cornwall. There was non-stop laughter all day. Ivana & Darryl held their ceremony out on the lawn at Talland Bay Hotel overlooking the South Cornwall Coastline, are were joined by just 13 of their closest family.
