Q: Where are you based and how far will you travel?
I am based in Edinburgh and cover the whole of Scotland, the UK and also overseas destinations.
My packages include travel within central Scotland, however if you would like me to travel further afield just let me know and we can talk about the details.
Q: Can we meet you before making a booking?
Absolutely, it’s a good idea to arrange an informal meeting before making a booking.
This will give you a chance to ask questions, tell me about your wedding plans and inform me of exactly what you are looking for in terms of photography.
I usually arrange another meeting a month or so before your wedding date to go over all the fine details. If it’s not convenient to arrange a meeting, we can easily discuss your requirements via email, phone or Skype.
Q: How do we book?
If we’ve had a chat and you wish to book me as your photographer I will require a 25% booking fee along with a signed agreement that will secure my time and services for your day.
Q: Will you visit our venue beforehand?
I will always visit venues that I am unfamiliar with as this helps me to build up a better picture of how I will approach your day. If I have worked at the venue previously you can rest assured that I will be fully prepared to capture all the best shots!
Q: How many images will we receive and how will we get them?
With all of my packages you will receive a USB drive of high resolution images that you have full permission to print and share as you wish.
The amount of images you will receive is dependent on the amount of coverage you have requested.
With my full day package you can expect to receive around 350-400 images, professionally retouched by myself.
Q: When can we see our photographs? In the days following your wedding you will be supplied with a selection of low-resolution preview images. The rest of your digital photography images will be ready within 4 - 6 weeks depending on the time of year and how busy the photographer is. At quieter times of the year your photos will be available before this.
Q: Do you take formal family photographs?
It’s entirely up to you. I am more than happy to set up family group photographs as required.
I realise these photographs can be very important to some families and are a lovely record to have.
I usually aim to spend no longer than necessary so you are not away from your other guests for too long.
Q: Do you offer albums or photobooks?
I do, they are an optional add-on, and I am happy to give more details on request.
Q: Do you have full insurance?
Yes, I am fully insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send me an email or just give me a call.
