Kate Walker Tripple Six Eight Platoon Funeral

Kate Pate Walker, who passed away in 2012, was a member of WAC- the Women's Army Corps. The all- Black 6888 Battalion played a crucial role in sorting and routing mail for American servicemembers during the war. Historic Sacred Spaces organized a beautiful military funeral that she never received in her honor.
