We have a small team of photographers and videographers. The business was set up by me, Tara. I was born into photography. Both of my parents are photographers, my grandfather documented my father’s childhood on film, preserving everyday moments long before I understood their value. Growing up, there was always a camera in my hands, and storytelling through imagery felt instinctive rather than learned.
As a child, my focus gravitated toward animals, my other great love. Photographing them taught me the importance of patience, observation, and respect for fleeting moments. In my teenage years, I began exploring portraiture, where I discovered the power of connection and the ability to preserve emotion in a single glance. As my mother, Joy always says, “a moment now, captured forever in time.”
Moments are fragile, we live them once, store them in memory, and then they are gone. Learning that photography could hold those moments, share them, honour them, and tell their stories changed everything for me. I became drawn to the quiet details many overlook, the unspoken emotions, the fleeting expressions, the joy that appears for just a second and then disappears. Seeing those moments and choosing to share them is what motivates me. And film is thousands of these little moments combined and made to be shared and lived over and over again.
In adulthood, I combined my passion with my profession and became a wedding photographer and videographer. I capture the moments between the moments, knowing that these small fragments often become everything. I am not the author of these stories, but a witness, trusted to observe honestly and preserve what matters.
