FAQ`s

Q. How long does Ian F T Young Photography keep my images?
A. All our images are stored indefinitely. Your images can be found using the password distributed by the school and using the number provided with each image.

Q. Who owns the copyright on my images?
A. Ian F T Young Photography retains the copyright on all images taken and supplied. Products/photographs may not be copied, published or reproduced in any form without our written permission. 

Q. Can I order any images in digital form?
A. Only your childrens images can be purchased in digital form and delivered via a 'Filemail' web link. Class pictures are NOT sold in digital form and are only available as photographic prints.

Q. What size are the digital images?
A. All our digital images are produced in colour and sized to 12x8 inches. We do not release raw files.

Q. Is it safe to give my credit details over the Internet?
A. We use the services of PayPal and/or Stripe, and all payments made on our website are secure.

Q. How do I proof my images and select the ones I want?
A. Please visit our website ianftyoung.ie and select the link ‘View your Pictures’ on our home page. Then select the school link and album you wish to view. To access the album you will require the password distributed by the school. Please note that for security reasons, Ian F T Young Photography does NOT distribute passwords.

Q. How long does it take for orders to be returned to the school for collection?
A. We aim to return all orders to the school between 6 to 8 weeks if ordered before the deadline date on your password letter.

Q. If I need more photographs after the online window closes, can I still order them?
A. Yes, please email ianftyoung@gmail.com with your school, class and childs name/s and I will guide you through the process by email. After a year, you can still order products but as we don't keep papaerwork relating to our schools or parents you need to come over to us in Churchtown and togeather we will locate your images.
Please note a fee of €25 will be payable if ordering after the date on your password letter, and if after a year a fee of €50 will be payable if coming to us in Churchtown.

Q. If I have a query regarding my order do I contact the school or Ian F T Young Photography?

Q. How environmentally friendly is Ian F T Young Photography?
A. We take all our images digitally, so reducing the need for processing chemicals. No product is produced unless ordered in advance. Our card mounts are made from 100% recyclable material.

Q. What if I have a problem with my order?
A. We take great care in producing all our orders but if you are dissatisfied in any way, we will endeavor to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. If you have a problem with an order you receive, please contact us as soon as you notice the problem. If you do not receive your order by the end of term, please contact us before term end so we can resolve the problem. Problems with an order or missing orders cannot be replaced after the school term ends in which the images were taken.

Q. If I misplace my digital images, can I access them in the future?
A. Yes, if you misplace your digital images please email ianftyoung@gmail.com and for a €25 fee I will locate and resend them to your email address.
