My name is Bethany. Ever since I can remember I've loved looking at the world through the lens of a camera. When I was 13 my dad let me start using his "fancy" camera.... that's when I started learning to manually focus, check my lighting & develop my point of view. All these years later, I still love looking at life through my lens. Every time I pick up my camera & put it to my face I feel like I'm peeking through a time warp... slowing it down & bottling it up for some time & place far into the future.
I began dating the love of my life more than 21 years ago. He finally asked me to marry him 15 years ago and now we have 3 amazing kids, ages 14, 12 and 3. We have owned our own irrigation business for the past 14 years, 13 of which I managed the office from home.
Currently I am a stay-at-home mom, on homeschooling year 3, and I continue managing and photographing the Lansing Triathlon Team that my hubby and I started 9 years ago. I am also finally developing a business idea I've had for many years in my "spare time".
My photography point of view is simple: capture & preserve moments that reflect the beauty of life.
