Hello my name is Hope Rautahi,
I have been capturing precious moments for almost 7 years and in that time have grown an enormous passion for what I do. That passion has allowed me to step out of my comfort zones and gain the knowledge, skills and experience needed to provide a quality service in my own personal way.
My Experience and Skills Include:

-Karma’s Image Photography; A small business I started at the beginning of my Photography Journey, to further my studies and gain more practical experience. I focused on Maternity/Newborn and Family shoots, but also moved into Birthdays, Events and Weddings. I ran this Small Business on and off for 4-5 years alongside raising my children. Then For the next 2 and a half years I worked for other companies to gain even more skills.

-Santa Photography Set Supervisor At Macarthur Square, For Scene To Believe; One of the leading Santa Photography Companies in Sydney and all over Australia. There I ran a team of 15+ to provide a magical experience with Santa to every child, and deliver professional photography services and products to all customers over the Christmas period. That set is one of my Proudest achievements and made me realise just how much I wanted to focus on Children’s Photography and Creating Magical Experiences. After the Season was over I connected with another local photographer, we merged and expanded both our small businesses to form

-Exclusive Focus Photography; A temporary collaboration where I got to express my creativity a lot more then I could with the seasonal companies. We had an amazing studio in Ingleburn that helped us get recognised. Amongst the studio work we also worked on Weddings and Events. Then we branched off in green screen work and began to create Fairy Tale images which is where my love for Children’s Photography and Creating Magic grew even more. We held green screen stalls, and on the spot service at local fairs and markets, We donated our services to charities such as The Bears Of Hope Foundation and Bear Cottage Super Hero’s. After a year and a half we both decided to return to our solo businesses. I also worked at

-The School Photographer; another leading school photography company in Sydney and Australia. There I also worked in a fast passed environment as a Portrait Photographer, with a mobile setup that I took to a different location every day of the week. This is also a seasonal job ending mid year, so from here I went to

-Gotcha Kids Photography and Gotcha Magic; I worked as a Portrait Photographer in a pop up mall set up. They also had a small green screen branch which was great for me to gain more skills and knowledge in the genre I was now most interested in specialising in. Although my time with company was short, I learnt a lot of things that will help the success of Little Magic Moments. From There I found

-Puddle Pics Underwater Photography; We specialise in Children’s underwater photography and we operate in various swim schools across Australia. I am currently still working here part time as I do Love my job here. I get to take photos that are also unique and a little magical as well. I’m working with kids and Its all year round. I do believe i have a lot more to learn from this company and am happy to continue to work there along side my new business venture.

I am so excited to start this new journey. I believe I have found a niche that brings together all the things I love the most about Photography as well as the skills I gained in my previous Jobs and Experiences, which allows me to produce something meaningful, and that I take the most pride in.
