HOW IT WORKS - TIMINGS
Older newborn sessions are suitable for babies between 2 weeks and 5 months old, and last approximately two hours. (allow for 4)
You can get in touch to check my availability for these sessions and book your place by sending me a message.
If you’d like to book before your baby is born I recommend that we book a date approximately 4 days after your due date.
If your baby is born much earlier than expected just get in touch when they’re born and we can move the session to an earlier time.
I am limited with the amount of 'older' newborn sessions I can schedule per month. I try our best to accommodate last minute bookings but due to pre booked
sessions being a priority I am sometimes unable to accommodate new arrivals when a booking fee has not been secured.
I take on a maximum of 3 'older' newborns per week, so these sell out fast. so it is advised you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
BEFORE YOUR PHOTO SHOOT -
Before your shoot I’ll be at the end of an email to answer any questions you have.
If you could let me know what colours you DON'T want me to use before your session, this would be great. I need 48hrs notice prior to your session
(if I don't hear from you, I'll assume you are happy for me to work my magic and will use a selection of different colours for your session)
I’ll also share lots of practical tips to help you prepare, from what to bring to what to wear to make sure you feel prepared for a relaxed,
enjoyable session.
YOUR OLDER NEWBORN SESSION -
The day of your session has arrived! We’ll usually spend around an hour together and I’ll start by photographing your baby on their own.
Your baby will be wrapped throughout the session and I’ll capture a variety of photographs in my signature natural style.
Towards the end of the session I’ll photograph you all as a family, including sibling portraits if you have older children.
During the session you’re my guest. I’ll make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Should you like to capture the family bond, I will plan to take a few images with parents/siblings at the end of the session.
I ask that you and your children come dressed in neutral complimentry clothing (with no patterns) It is extremely important that your
children are kept quietly entertained throughout as to not disturb the relaxing atmospshere needed throughout the session. If you are
able to get a family member to bring your child/ren to the session towards the end this is greatly advised.
Please request when booking should you require this.
OLDER NEWBORN:
Linzi of MLB Photographic is one the most highly sought after Newborn Photographers within the High Peak.
Her timeless & beautiful baby photography is well respected by her piers & her clients.
Most of the images you see in Linzi's work are of newborns between 4-7 days of age. Usually booking out months in advance, booking is recommended at 20 weeks of your pregnancy to secure your newborn a spot in her diary. Once booked, Linzi will pencil you in under your due month in her calendar.

These sessions are FREE. I do not charge for your time in the studio.
However, I require a £80 non -refundable booking fee, which secures your slot. This is then deduct from your chosen package order.
2-3 weeks after your session (longer at peek times) you are given a password to view your gallery on my website and place your order. I take payments by cash, online bank transfer or Paypal.

Due to being a busy mum of three beautiful children, Linzi only takes on a limited number of newborn sessions per month. This is to ensure her clients are provided with a high quality, non rushed session & after care.
All Sessions are held in the MLB Photographic studio in Chapel-en-le-Frith. Its warm, relaxed & perfect home from home for little ones to drift off into dreamland. During your session, parents are encouraged to sit back & relax in the studio whilst Linzi looks after your little one & captures those beautiful images of your baby.
Most Newborn Sessions usually last around 2-4 hours, allowing plenty of time for set-ups/poses whilst ensuring your babys comfort & safety is paramount.
Although capturing plenty of images is a priority, your babys needs will come first. Newborn safety is considered paramount to anything else during the session.
DUE TO COVID-19 GLOVES AND FACE MASKS WILL BE WORN BY LINZI AND PARENTS WILL BE ASKED TO USE ANTIBACTERIAL GEL UPON ARRIVAL (PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN)
TO MAXIMISE SAFETY, WE ASK THAT ONLY ONE PARENT BRINGS BABY.
NO SNACKS OR DRINKS WILL BE OFFERED BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN, AND PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME WITH YOU
HOW MUCH IS A NEWBORN SESSION?
My Newborn Sessions are FREE.
I simply require a non refundable booking fee of £80 to secure your session date, and this will then come off your order.
You are under no obligation to purchase any images, and I never do a hard sell.
