For beach sessions, I recommend earth tones, neutrals, and dusty pastels — these photograph beautifully and complement the natural surroundings. Try to avoid all-white outfits; creams are better, and steer clear of dressing everyone in blue, as it can clash with the sky and water. One person in blue can work, especially when paired with warmer tones for the rest of the family.
Inspiration photos show how wonderful mustard tones look, along with flowing dresses and long gowns that move beautifully in the breeze. Accessories like hats, flower crowns, textured layers, and introducing one or two prints instead of solids add depth and interest to your photos.
