Howdy! I'm Sean Landry, the owner & head photographer of Southwest Studios. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I grew up in Longview, Texas - a graduate of Pine Tree High in 1990.
      After studying photography I began my business in 1996 and was blessed to have worked at a professional photographic lab for 7 years, where I was able to further my knowledge of both the photographer's & lab's side of the business. I would say that in looking back I had the best of both worlds, learning from top-notch photographers from all over the United States--and yes, Hawaii, that includes you!
       I hold a certificate from Kodak ProLab in Photoshop & am a member of the Professional Photographers of America. I also am a member of the Kilgore Chamber of Commerce and served as an officer for Business Networking International. My work has been published on numerous magazine front covers ( including a nationally distributed magazine for which our photo was chosen ), calendars, newspapers & billboards.
     We opened our first commercial studio in 2003 in downtown Kilgore, Texas. We now have a studio located at 1100 A North Kilgore Street, and have included a professional videographer in our offices. We specialize in Senior Portraits, Families and Children's photography (including babies ) & Weddings. We offer in-studio and on-location photography services. These range from portraits to keepsake albums, aluminum prints, business signs & banners, landscape nature for interior design, greeting cards, large canvas prints, corporate head shots and many other services.
                  I LOVE what I do for a living and I believe it comes through in my work. However, I know that your input is important and will ask for it. Why? It will hang on YOUR wall, so I want you to love it as well!
