Our experience......for over 50 years this studio has provided creative wedding photography and with the development of digital imaging the possibilities have grown exponentially.
Capturing the events of the day is our prime objective with the minimum of fuss and as unobtrusively as possible. The result is a fabulous collection of pictures both formal and informal (reportage) that you can treasure forever in an album, wedding book or in digital form.
We have negative archives dating back to 1991. We can scan the negatives and supply the images on disk if you required. If a friend or relation had their wedding photography by Streten photographers, Please let them know that this service is available.
Our service... We offer 5 packages that we hope will fit your wedding photography dreams and your budget. We can however, create a package to suite you, so please let us know if you want something different. For all our packages we offer a free “engagement shoot”. This is an informal photo-shoot on location and is an ideal opportunity to discuss your wedding photography with the photographer.
Some clients like to ask for wedding photography as a wedding present, for this we have Gift Tokens available.
Your choice... Our job is to capture pictures for you, so just ask and we will click. From all the shots we take, you have choices, you may wish to just have your pictures on disk or choose from our selection of album. Within days of your wedding we will upload your photographs to our website for you, your friends and family to view and order pictures. If you are having an album or wedding book, we recommend a private viewing of your pictures on our large high definition screen. With our special software, one click we can change your pictures from colour to black&white or sepia.
Package1....this package is designed to give you flexibility and freedom to use your wedding pictures in any way you wish. Your photographer attends from one hour before the start of your wedding ceremony through to the start of the wedding reception, taking formal and informal shots. All pictures will be supply on CD as high resolution files, plus a licence to print them where and how you wish. If you decide later to have some of your shots printed by us and you would like an album, we can advise and create an attractive package to fit your budget - £495.00
Package2....this package is the same as package1 but coverage extends to the “first dance”. All formal and informal pictures will be supply on CD as high resolution files, plus a licence to print them where and how you wish. We can supply conventional albums with photographs mounted and bound in a variety of colours or a wedding book designed especially for you - £795.00
Package3...your two photographers will capturing lots of action and formal shots. Package3 starts with arrivals and continue to capture pictures through the day to include the “first dance”. All wedding pictures are supplied on CD as high resolution files plus a licence to print them where and how you wish - £1095.00
Package4...two photographers will attend capturing action with stills and video of reportage style and formal groups. With two photographers we can provide different views of the major wedding events during the day. We start with pre-ceremony preparation and continue to capture pictures through the day to the “first dance”. All wedding pictures are supplied on CD as high resolution files plus a licence to print them where and how you wish. - £1395.00
Package5...as you would expect with our top package the inclusive album is beautiful and hand made in Italy, or if you prefer a wedding book, then these will be equally sumptuous. Coverage starts with preparations right through to the “first dance”. In addition to two stills photographers, we include a videographer who will also capture events in sounds and motion throughout the day. Your wedding video will have a Hollywood look with stylish editing in broadcast quality. Naturally all your pictures are high resolution files supplied on CD and the HD video on USB memory stick plus a licence to use the pictures - £1995.00

TERMS & CONDITIONS It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted by The Photographers in writing. Deposit A non-returnable deposit is payable when booking, the remainder of which ever package is chosen to be paid four weeks prior to the wedding ceremony. Photographs All photograph sizes are nominal. Colour The photographs will provide a pleasing colour balance based on the flesh tones of the subjects but cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man made fibres, it is sometimes impossible to record the exact colour of a garment as seen by the human eye. Preview on the “View Your Pictures” section of the Streten web site. Any unauthorised copies will constitute a breach of contract and will incur compensation equal to the amount signed for on the preview release form. Re-Orders All re-orders shall be treated as an extension of this contract. No responsibility for error will be accepted unless orders are given in writing. Copyrights By the signing of this contract The Client assigns to The Photographer the copyright of all photographs specified in the schedule. The photographer may display samples of this order. License The Photographers shall be granted artistic license in relation to the poses photographed and the location used. The photographers’ judgement regarding the locations, poses, and number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct. Prices All services / or goods are supplied at the prices ruling at the time of supply and are exclusive of VAT. All prices are ex-studio. Sole Rights The Photographers shall be the sole professional photographers at the Venues specified. The Client will assist The Photographers in ensuring that no photographs are taken of poses arranged by The Photographers and that guest’s photographs are taken at a specified interval which is convenient to the Photographers. Force Majeure The due performance of this contract is subject to any alteration or cancellation by The Photographers owing to any cause beyond their control. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by The Photographers liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. The Photographers shall not be liable for consequential loss however caused. Cancellation The Client may repudiate this contract at any time prior to the wedding ceremony by giving written notice to The Photographers. Should notice of cancellation be received by The Photographers less than 10 months prior to the wedding ceremony The Client will liable for half the remaining portion of the package purchased. The said sum shall be as compensation for the loss The Photographer will suffer. Digital picture files Files are kept for a period of one year for the purpose of customer re-orders, but the copyright remain the property of David Streten Studios.
