Hi There I’m the face (and camera) behind Tumbleweed Photography.

My name is Casey, I’m a Warwick-based photographer who lives for capturing the real, messy, beautiful snapshots — the belly laughs, the wind-blown hair, toddlers who refuse to look at the camera, and couples sneaking glances at each other when they think no one’s watching (spoiler: I am ). I’m basically a professional story-teller with a camera — in the nicest way possible. And yes, I occasionally talk to the camera like it’s my best mate… it doesn’t judge me.

Photography isn’t my day job — it’s my passion, my creative escape, and the part of my life where I get to slow down and hold onto fleeting scenes and highlights. During the week, you’ll usually find me in funky scrubs caring for residents and probably telling a bad joke or two (they laugh anyway… sometimes).

When you book with me, you’re getting someone who:
• Will hype you up when you say “I’m awkward in photos” (trust me, we’ll make it look effortless)
• Knows Dad has absolutely no idea what to do with his hands (it’s okay, I’ll sort it out )
• Will make ridiculous noises to get your toddler’s attention (yes, even the ones that make you question my sanity)
• Might accidentally say “stunning” 47 times during your session
• Will trip over my own feet exactly 12 times before your session even starts — consider it part of the fun
• And don’t worry about Dad’s terrible jokes… I’ve built up a tolerance to them. Thank you, Dad
• Will probably make a random, unnecessary pun at some point — you’ve been warned
• Loves capturing couples being goofy, flirty, or just ridiculously in love — awkward poses totally welcome!
• Knows adults can be tricky too — yes, even you who insists you “hate having your photo taken.” Trust me, you’ll look amazing, and probably have some laughs along the way

I’m still growing in this industry, and I’m proud of that. I pour my heart into every session and love creating images that feel real, natural, and timeless — a little artistic, but always you.

Let’s be honest… kids will meltdown, the wind will have opinions, someone will blink at the wrong time, your dog might try to eat the camera, and someone will probably drop a snack where you least expect it. Toddlers might suddenly decide that crouching under a bush is more fun than smiling at the camera, or scream at the top of their lungs just to remind everyone who’s boss. And honestly? I love it. Some of the funniest, most authentic photos happen in the chaos — the “Why is my kid eating sand?” scenes, the “Who taught them that dance move?” highlights, and yes, the full-on tantrum episodes that somehow end up being the cutest snapshots of all. I embrace the chaos, and I promise to make you laugh through every hilarious happening.

And adults? Oh yes, you’re not off the hook. I love capturing couples and grown-ups being genuinely themselves — laughing, teasing, rolling their eyes at each other, or just holding hands like it’s the first time all over again. Those real-life bits are some of my favorite highlights to freeze in time.

This little business is something I’m building from the ground up, alongside my busy life and slightly chaotic adventures. Every booking supports a dream I’m chasing, and I don’t take that lightly.
