Capturing the Unique Charm of All Your Beloved Pets—From Cats to Exotic Creatures

Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and mice, hamsters, llamas, goats, sheep, alpacas birds, poultry, reptiles, and amphibians.

While most of my work involves dogs and horses, I am prepared to photograph any pet or livestock

Welcome to another part of my pet photography business, where I specialize in capturing the unique essence of your beloved companions. As an animal lover myself, I understand the deep bond we share with our non-human friends. From mischievous cats to playful rabbits, enchanting birds to delightful reptiles, my lens is ready to immortalize their captivating personalities.

When you arrange a session, you'll find a warm and inviting atmosphere designed to put both you and your pet at ease. I believe that a relaxed environment is key to capturing those magical moments that truly reflect your pet's character. So whether your pet is shy, curious, or full of boundless energy, we'll create a comfortable setting that brings out their true spirit.

One of the joys of being a pet photographer is the opportunity to work with a diverse range of animals. While many photographers focus solely on dogs and horses, I celebrate the beauty and individuality of all creatures, big and small. Whether you have a slithering snake, a colorful fish, or a feisty ferret, I'm here to capture their unique charm through my lens. Also, not forgetting the interaction between pet and owner

During our sessions, I take the time to get to know your pet and understand their personality. This helps me tailor the photography experience to their specific needs and preferences. Patience is the name of the game, as I wait for that perfect moment when their eyes sparkle or their tail flicks with excitement.

Once the photo session is complete, the magic continues as I meticulously edit the images to enhance their natural beauty. From vibrant colors to soft focus, I aim to create artistic compositions that truly reflect the essence of your pet. The final result? A collection of stunning photographs that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

In addition to my studio sessions, I also offer the flexibility of on-location shoots. Whether it's your pet's favorite park, a sunlit corner of your home, or a scenic outdoor spot, I'm more than happy to accommodate your preferences and capture your pet in their natural element.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and see the joy and love that radiate from each photograph. If you're ready to embark on this photographic journey with me, I would be delighted to be your pet's personal storyteller. Contact me today to schedule a session and let's create lasting memories of your extraordinary companion.

Cats
Cats are notorious for doing their own thing and being uncooperative during a session. This is why, as part of my guarantee, I am prepared to stop and reschedule if things are not working.

Studio props for cats include a cat basket and toys. An assistant off camera with a toy can be helpful to gain the cat's attention.

Photographing a cat just after it has had a meal or woken up from a nap can be helpful, as the cat will tend to be more relaxed.

I tend to use the Canon 7dII because of its high burst rate, due to the unpredictability, combined with the speed a cat can move.
This is one situation where continuous light scores if natural light is not available because flash can spook a cat, and that will be the end of the session

Many animals are basically food orientated, such as rabbits being fond of bananas or chickens loving sweetcorn.
