Hi, welcome to my website, here's a little bit about me :
I'm Neil, a full-time professional Wedding Photographer based in the Cotswolds near Oxford, I cover a very wide area of the UK.
When I am not away being a Wedding Photographer, I enjoy spending time with my young family (although they are growing up way too fast!), just being out in the great outdoors as often as I can (with my camera of course). I do have a passion for creating
Landscape Photography images in my
"spare" time and getting out to watch sunrises and sunsets. Taking as many trips to
Cornwall and
The Isles of Scilly as I can - my wife is Cornish so there is not much need for an excuse to travel down as often as we can... and of course locally in my beautiful Cotswold and
Oxfordshire surroundings. The love of the outdoors also fuels a passion for cycling either on or off-road which helps me keep me fit for the Wedding season!
I started my photography business and shooting Weddings in 2006, previously to this I could be found creating a wide variety of maps, working as a Cartographer, you could say I have been an
"ographer" of some description for many years! I feel very privileged now to be able to follow a career path for a job I totally love (and am slightly addicted to!). I love documenting life events, telling stories with images and capturing fleeting moments & emotions all in the few precious hours of a Wedding day.

Why
"NordicPics" - I seem to get asked frequently? Simple answer really, a school playground nickname for a blond haired, blue eyed boy that stuck & Scandinavian surname became
“Nordic” at the football lunchtime kickabouts!
