Hi I'm Jenna, a Southampton based photographer, with a passion for urban, rural and studio portraits with people and their four-legged family and friends.
Since receiving my first dslr in 2015, I have enjoyed capturing the moments of fun and laughter on family holidays, days out and special events. I found it difficult not to take photos that were a bit different from the regular snapshots, I liked to capture the mood from all angles in all lights and as many locations and backdrops as possible.
Being a parent myself, I appreciate capturing the moments that matter, with everyone on the right side of the camera, as we all know there is always one who isn't in the photo, and we don't always want those awkward angles from selfies that only just about capture everyone in the frame.
My photoshoots are fun and relaxed with a personalised approach. I like working with confident individuals, who don't need much direction but equally love to support more shy individuals to show their confident side and feel at ease, by taking time to settle in to the session we soon grow in confidence and the smiles and poses start to flow. No session is rushed, so everyone gets time to let the hair down and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
I love to meet new people with different styles of expression and ideas of how to showcase themselves in front of the camera.
