FAQ
When should I schedule my cake smash session?
Your cake smash session is photographed to celebrate your little bubba turning One. Some clients like to book their session when bub is around 10 months old to be able to use the photographs for their 1st Birthday party invitations, others like to schedule on or around bubs first birthday and other clients miss the mark and we photography their baby anytime after their first birthday up to 16 months old. Please contact me as soon as you start thinking of your cake smash session. Please contact me 3-6 weeks prior to when you would like your photography session.
How long will the session last?
Cake smash portrait sessions take approx. 1 hour depending on the unpredictability of little children.
What to bring
With babies of this age it is a good idea to bring their favourite snack & milk for comfort. I also recommend bringing their favourite toy for comfort too. Cake smashes are messy! so I recommend bringing a spare set of clothes for yourself, especially if your baby is walking. You have the option of supplying the cake and outfit yourself or using one of my themes. I can also arrange the supply & delivery of the cake.
