Our Newborn Baby Art images are one of a kind, capturing such a fleeting time during which they are so small, with all their tiny features.
Tip: We would recommend pre booking for when your baby is 7-21 days old.

Bookings for Newborn Baby Art sessions can be prebooked from 20 weeks pregnant. We prebook for approximately 10-14 days after your due date.
Tip: Book early, our studio is limited to just 5 Newborn photo shoots per week.

It's at this stage your babies personalities are really blooming, they're starting to be interested in everything and this is the beginning of the cheeky stage!
This photography session can be booked direct online. Just plan with a ideal date & time in mind for your little one.
When clicking online booking you will automatically purchase the voucher and pay a refundable deposit.
If you would like a gift voucher for this session please purchase a children & family voucher this type of photo shoot is included in this voucher.

Suitable for babies 1st Birthday

Ideal for babies 1st Birthday
Your photo shoot will start with around 15 mins of standard portraits of your little one on different backgrounds and using some age/stage aproprite props (ie if we still need a little help standing up!). During this part of the session parents and siblings are encouraged to join in!
Then we'll move onto the fun bit - the cake smashin! This is where it gets a little messy...but a lotta fun.
Some babies will need a little help pulling the cake apart - others will dive right in.
Whatever your little one does, we'll be sure to capture some amazingly cute images for you to treasure.
Please come prepared with baby wipes and a clean change of clothes for afterwards!
CAKE IDEAS: We suggest a huge vanilla sponge cake with buttercream icing, these tend to look amazing covered in lots of colour such as sprinkles.
TIP: We find lighter coloured sponges give the best effect, and we would advise against using Chocolate or Red Velvet!
Feel free to bring balloons & props used for your little ones 1st first birthday, we do have some props such as colorful bunting and a white decorative cake stand.

Portraits at this age are a wonderful way of capturing your baby really flourishing into their own little person.
They've spent a year learning their way round and now often are starting to become more independant.
We find this age really lends itself to family portraits too, so feel free to jump in, even bring the grandparents maybe!
